Today, we all went to church and then home for lunch. My mom came over and got Emma. Carter took a nap and Morgan and I went to Target, Kohl's and TJ Maxx to look for window treatments, decorations, and a table cloth for the sun room. We came up empty handed in finding anything that was cute. I think I'm just going to have to make something. After that, the girls and I went back to church to attend the Jerusalem Marketplace. Yeah, I didn't know what it was when I first heard about it either. It was neat, though. Here is the description "The story of Jesus of Nazareth has been handed down throughout countless generations. Every year at Easter, people from all over the world celebrate the birth, the life, the crucifixion, and the resurrection of Jesus. Come learn more about Jesus and the week that led up to his crucifixion and resurrection at Jerusalem Marketplace. You'll be taken back in time, to witness real life drama about the life of Jesus during that final week. You'll learn about the lifestyles of this historic era. Play authentic Middle Eastern games, just like they did. Sample Middle Eastern snacks, while learning the trades of baking, carpentry, pottery and music from this historic time." It was really pretty neat! The girls liked it.
Here is Emma learning about getting her feet washed from Pastor David (we gave him a hard time about this one too!)
