Carter's Birthday Party!!!!

Carter's Birthday Party weekend began with his actual birthday on Friday, Nov. 14. It was a busy day! We got Morgan on the bus, told Daddy bye bye, took Emma to preschool, went to get Mommy's allergy shot, went to the mall to get Carter's 1 year pictures taken, went to Bath and Body Works to see Mary, got our monthly Auntie Anne's Pretzel Sticks (only 5 WW points in an Original Order!!! YUMMMMMM), went to pick up Emma from Preschool, came home, fed everyone lunch, did my Couch to 5K assignment, got cleaned up, had Kristen, Sydney, and Megan over to play for a couple of hours, went to dinner at the Goller's house (who live 2 streets over and we met because Morgan and their daughter Anna have become friends on the bus this year!) then came home and started cleaning up for Carter's party. Carter had to be caged while we did that....he didn't seem to mind!

Saturday morning, we all got up and everyone chipped in to get the house ready for the party. We started the party at 2pm. Here is our traditional family shot by the cake photo!

Then the party began! Here is Carter hanging out with Nana and some milk.

Daddy was very proud that Carter was showing obvious mallet abilities.

And then it was time for the cake!!! Here, Carter is asking "why does everyone keep signing that song to me?!"

Really? The whole cake is for me? I can grab it? Are you sure?

Well, maybe just a little taste.

Carter had quite a gift opening audience! Here are Morgan, Emma, friends Victoria, Hayden and Hayley, and cousins Haley and Hannah.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Schuler sent a gift from Florida so we took a picture of Carter with it and he got all shy.


After the party, Chris' parents and sister and our niece all went out to Carlos O'Kellys to eat where they even gave Carter his own fried ice cream for his birthday! It was a super fun day!
