Swim lessons, day 1

This time last year, Morgan was still scared to death of the water. This year, she just jumped right in and is having a great time! She started out in level 1 and moved to level 2 by day 2.

Today, my Dad called and said he was taking me out for a ride. We went to Ivanhoe's for his favorite dessert of Strawberry Shortcake....which is now MY favorite dessert as well!!! I didn't even need dinner. We both realized we should have taken a picture of it before we ate it but we were too focused on diving in. YUM!

What to do when school is out: Volume 3: Read a book! (hey, that one's better!!!)
We signed the kids up for the Yorktown library's Summer Reading Program yesterday. It is a really cute program. For every 100 pages they read, they get a cool prize. (of course they have silly trinket prizes but they also have lots of free kids' meals that I always try to steer them in the direction of!!!) Morgan got a Junie B. Jones book and has been reading it non-stop. Its very cute. We went to a cookout tonight at Derrick & Katy Williams' house for our Sunday School class and Morgan even wanted to take the book with her! Makes me proud!
